Keymax has brought together a passionate energetic team that incorporates a focused group with experience in development, construction and property management.

The team is led by managing director Hendrik Kraaij whose vision, passion and energetic personality delivers a professional, highly qualified and approachable workforce. Hendrik’s vision and approachable manner delivers a highly collaborative focused team that delivers quality outcomes.

The Keymax team's hands-on approach enables quick thinking decisions to be made, close control of progression throughout project and flexibility to respond to client’s individual needs and requirements. The Keymax team is accessible at all times.

Jan Kraaij
Chairman

Jan is the Chairman of the Keymax Group of Entities.

Jan obtained a BSc Engineering (Mechanical) degree in 1980. He also held a Fidelity Certificate from The Estate Agency Affairs Board of South Africa.

Prior to pursuing a full-time property development career, he was the Managing Director of Jolly Jumbo Pty Ltd, a food and drink manufacturing company that employed approximately 150 employees. Jolly Jumbo supplied all the supermarket groups in South Africa with various Branded and House brand products. This gave him a diverse insight into the property requirements of the food and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry as well the locations and layout of Shopping Centres.

During this time he developed a property portfolio of around 30 000sq.m spanning 20+ factories with tenants including King Pie Central Kitchen, Rein Oil (edible oils), Unique Flavours, and Pro Africa Foods etc. of which the many is still owned by himself and a friend.

His practical abilities are matched with his academic qualifications and relationship skills; from employees to managing directors of national companies.

Jan moved to Australia in 2010 and has since successfully acquired and developed properties in excess of A$80+ million, as can be seen in our portfolio.

Hendrik Kraaij
Managing Director

Hendrik is the Managing Director of the Keymax Group of Entities and oversees all aspects of the businesses. He has in-depth experience in all aspects of the development and construction industry, from site management to the project management and delivery of multi-million dollar projects. Hendrik brings a hands on management approach to the group, providing guidance and support to all stakeholders.

He has personally managed commercial and industrial projects from 200sqm up to 15000sqm.

Hendrik holds a Queensland Real Estate License Certificate, an Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction and is a Responsible Manager on Keymax Asset Management Australian Financial Services Licence.

Thys Jacobs
Director

Thys is a Director of the Keymax Group and oversees all investment, financial and legal aspects of the group’s business.

Thys was previously employed in corporate environments, gaining invaluable experience in financial and investment management. Since 2014 he has managed various aspects of the business focusing on the growth of the Keymax Group and has a true dedication to investor prosperity. Thys applies the Keymax Group's proven commercial property investment fundamentals and hard earned industry experience to every investment. He also has first-hand experience in project managing commercial and residential projects within the construction industry.

Thys is a qualified Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business in Financial Management and is a responsible manager in respect of the Licensee’s AFSL.

Justine Kemister

Joseph Clune
Development Manager

Joe has over twenty years of experience in commercial property investment, development and consulting.

Joe’s experience has been gained across the entire property lifecycle including master planning and approvals, feasibility analysis, capital transactions, construction and project delivery. Joe has worked for large financial institutions, listed developers, privately owned investment companies and consulting groups.

Joe has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property Economics), a Masters in Applied Finance, is a Certified Practising Valuer and Associate of the Australian Property Institute.

Victor Du Bois
Acquisitions and Leasing Analyst

Victor has over 7 years' experience in Real Estate sales and leasing, having facilitated a wide range of transactions with strata titled and freestanding industrial warehouse sales and leasing.

Victor thrives for outstanding outcomes in all his dealings with a key focus on efficient and clear communication and maintaining exceptional relationships with all stakeholders. His experience to date and thorough understanding of the sales and leasing processes have provided him the tools to manage the leasing needs of Keymax as well as seeking new sites for development and to build the Keymax Asset Management portfolio.

Victor holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and a current Real Estate Certificate of Registration.

Leanne Ellis
Property Manager & Office Administrator

Having made the move from a local residential agency, Leanne joins Keymax with over 20 years experience in property management and leasing.

She has a broad understanding and in-depth knowledge into the property management process and systems and strives to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders. Leanne is driven to deliver the best outcome for all parties involved.
